A portrait of eight musicians and their bands in New York City. It reveals the public and private layers of their lives and the ways they intersect. Often unpolished and frank, the film takes you through quiet kitchens to gentle rehearsals to soaring onstage performances for an unusually vulnerable bed of eclectic and visceral modern music.
